I am proud to be among the first Set of Wesley University Doctor of Ministry degree programme. The courses I have already taken have changed my horizon in the way I think about worship and liturgy. I appreciate the caliber of lecturers handling the D. Min Courses. Their efforts made our first intensive session / contact very rewarding and result oriented. The fee is far cheaper than anticipated. The overall packaging of the programme – the extras in terms of tea during break time and internet services – made our time at Ondo very relaxing. My deep appreciations goes to the Cliff College Team, Faculty and Staff of Wesley University for creating this executive learning atmosphere.

Let me start by thanking the Almighty God for giving me this ample opportunity to study at Wesley University, Ondo. I made up my mind that I will not receive Honorary Doctorate Degree, even when three different Institutions offered it; I had desired and wanted to study for it. I am proud to say that Wesley University has given me this opportunity and will be my ‘alma mata’.

The learning environment at WesleyUni is wonderful especially the College of Arts and the Institute for Advanced Theological Studies. The caliber of Faculty from Cliff College UK, Nigeria and other countries is commendable; they were very resourceful and dedicated. Something new is always seen whenever one visits the Institute, the rate of development here is very commendable.

Long Live Wesley University.

Around 2017 in a private chat, I shared with Very Rev. Dr. ChinonyeremEkebuisi my dream of obtaining a Doctorate Degree in Ministry and my plans to enroll for the course online soonest. He mentioned that if I could wait that there is the possibility that WesleyUni will commence D. Min Programme. “He mentioned that work is already ongoing” which he hinted that the initial process of seeking approval has started. This process took almost two years, but we kept at it that it would commence one day. When he finally mentioned it towards the end of 2018 that the course will start in March 2019, I was very elated but not sure of what to expect.

… I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Ondo. I had thought being in class with Archbishops, Bishops and very senior presbyters was going to be intimidating but they all acted like students that we were and I salute their humility. I look forward to our next session and pray that by His grace all of us as first set of this program will finish together and make Methodist Church Nigeria very proud for others to want to follow the footsteps.
