Doctor of Ministry (D. Min)
The Doctor of Ministry programme of Wesley University, following best practices consists of four intensive two weeks sessions, plus self-study modules, which will allow students to work from home. Class time provides occasions for disciplined study, critical reflections, group interactions among peers and evaluations on Ministry issues. Research Dissertation will serve as the programme exit examination. A student must receive a passing grade in the Research Dissertation in order to graduate.
Wesley University’s DMin is designed as a Cohort programme, with clear intentions to draw students and faculties across the globe. It is structured to suit the itinerary of those currently engaged in ministry (both Lay and Ordained). Its goal is to develop effective Christian Ministers by combining theological reflection with emphasis on church renewal and growth and practical social engagements, which leads to greater competence in ministerial skills. Students can use this degree to increase their general effectiveness in ministry or to tailor their abilities towards a particular specialty.
